This little girl was accompanied by her sweet mother and grandmother. Isn’t Baby V adorable in her pink sweater and summery dress? This day, V was somewhat serious, but we managed to coax out several wonderful smiles as well. I love being able to get both serious, soulful images and fun, lighthearted portraits in each session.
This session is from a few months ago. I’m a little late to blog about it, but it was a lovely session on a lovely warm day. I’ve been longing for some warm beach weather, so I thought I’d put up some images today. This family is just the sweetest. Mom is very laid back, friendly and sweet. And if you can believe it, she was actually pregnant when we took these photos. Tell me these sisters are not just the cutest!

It was such a pretty day when we photographed this little newborn, so we were able to do some shots inside and some outside. The family was so appreciative and accommodating in their home–truly a sweet family. I was so excited to show them the images that we got. Also, her sister was such a good sport through the entire session. We even got some shots of her alone, enjoying a flower.

It wasn’t that long ago that I did J’s maternity images when her little boy was in her tummy. And she’s now just weeks away from having another newborn baby. This time we did outdoor shots, and the colors were just lovely. As usual, they were just great to work with.

This family was SUCH a pleasure to photograph! The parents recently had their 40th anniversary, and their son wanted to give them a gift of family photographs including him and his new wife. What a great idea. Aren’t they a beautiful family? And the colors go so well with their beauty and happiness. Glorious, I say. At the end, as I was taking some pictures of J and his wife, we looked over at his parents with my reflector and scrim with the sun shining through, and I just couldn’t resist getting some spontaneous silhouette photos of them with them. What fun! Here’s to 40th anniversaries, and to many more.

We had so much fun getting some wonderful Souther California style beach photographs. Swinging is what this little one loves. Can you tell! This family was just so comfortable doing their own thing, enjoying the beach like I wasn’t there. What a beautiful family!

I feel like I’ve been ignoring this blog, but it’s not for lack of things to write about. Lots has been happening, and I’m looking forward to blogging about these things. One thing that’s been keeping me quite busy is three straight days of shooting from morning until night at a Janie & Jack kids clothing store. Continuing my blogging on your family holiday photo shoots. This is another special family to me. Little Ms. O has so much personality as you can see here. Her brother was a little more coy the day of our photo shoot, but we still got some fun pictures of him as well.
